Pre-Service Learning with World Relief

I don't know what to expect. I have had many interactions with people from different cultures. I hope to gain from this experience, a new and better understanding of different cultures. I would also hope to make some new friends in the process. My initial reaction to this entire idea was that I don't have time for this, I work a full time job, go to school full time, have a wife and a life outside of all of that and seeing as how it is a 200 level course, this as a requirement seemed quite ridiculous to me. However, the idea has grown on me, mainly because I have enjoy working with refugees and I am always interested in learning about their time here in America and all the stories they have in this country and their home country. I think this will be a fantastic experince and I have made time to be able to do this on the weekends. I can't wait to see how it goes!
